Description
1995 Vauxhall Cavalier GLS 16V 2.0i (135 bhp) Automatic
Believe it or not, this is a very rare car, with only 6 left on the road according to the DVLA, great for shows & meets plus a definite entry for the Festival of the Unexceptional.
Back in 1995 these were regularly commissioned by the police for high speed chases (the unmarked police car of choice for many forces)… with 134bhp, a max speed of 125 mph and a blistering 0-60 time of 9.0 seconds they were well equipped to ‘give chase’.
Unusually this is a low mileage example, having covered just over 80,000 it presents pretty well, other than a few small stone chips and age related imperfections to the paint and a little headlining sagging, it’s in super condition.
Just to add to the rarity….it still has it’s full dealer service pack with a comprehensive service history, and not only does it run and drive well it’s currently MOT’d.
Originally supplied by Evans Halshaw on 31/8/1995, it’s finished in a dark green metallic with grey velour trim, a manual sunroof, the rare automatic gearbox and Vauxhall wheel caps, as well as the’ luxurious’ GLS specification.
