1994 Citroen AX Forte 1.4i – rare, modern classic – a GT for half the price!

Citroen added the now rare Forte’s to their successful AX range with a 1.1 and the super sporty 1.4i engines. It’s essentially a GT with injection, but not the tuned GTi (single point rather than multipoint). Only available for a couple of years before they discontinued the sporty AX’s it weighed in at 772kg’s with 75bhp (circa 100bhp per tonne) so has brilliant handling, a very sporty feel and it’s a lot of fun – a GT for half the price!

This rare example is in excellent condition, solid and straight; the bodywork, paint, plastic trim, interior, engine bay, boot and underneath all present in incredible condition, not giving away its age or mileage.
At 30 years old and having covered 113,000 miles, or an average of 3,800 per year, its going strong – running, driving, handling & stopping like the hot hatch it is.
