1993 Porsche 968 3.0 Manual Coupe.

Finished in stunning Calypso Blue with an unmarked Classic Gray leather interior, the car presents in excellent condition inside and out and is a pleasure to drive.
Runs, drives & stops superbly, holds the correct oil pressure with absolutely no smoke from cold, shows no faults whatsoever and even the clock and digital gauge are working.

It’s covered a cosseted 142,000 miles; in long term ownership and used as a daily commuter from Lincolnshire to Manchester, high motorway miles were covered early on, whilst in latter years it has been used as a ‘Sunday’ car and carefully maintained, covering just 20,000 miles in the last 14 years.
The history file is particularly impressive, with 35 Porsche or Porsche Specialist stamps in the book (21 by Hartech) and all services and works carried out on time and with no expense spared. There are several Hartech condition reports on the file and they owned and sold the car themselves in 2000, with all the reports and invoice in the file.

A superb example of the now rare & underrated 968; as appreciative owners become more reluctant to part with them they are becoming harder to find, particularly with this history & condition.

Considered by many to be Porsche’s ‘best kept secret’ the last of the transaxle Porsche’s were only produced in small numbers and the DVLA report only 71 examples from 1993 still on the road with just 110 in total. Only circa 11,500 968’s were produced across all variants with only 6,400 Coupe’s produced … compare this to over 170,000 944’s and you begin to appreciate why they are a rare and desirable modern classic already.

This is a really well presented, looked after & useable classic Porsche – it’s a superb car to own and drive, and with values of 968’s rising a great time to buy.
